Katie Fitzpatrick is an ASL/English interpreter, teacher, mentor, and voice-over artist who has been learning from and with the Deaf community for over 12 years now. She is a self-proclaimed word nerd and grammar-enthusiast who uses humor and gaiety, coupled with storytelling and activities to help you carry lessons forward in your lives and your careers.

     Katie has her MA in Linguistics from Gallaudet University and holds a BEI 3 as well as NIC Advanced Certification and a Medical/Mental Health endorsement for the state of Michigan. She is also up to date on all of her shots and plays well with others. Her entire childhood was spent as an inquisitive soul who used to walk in the pool instead of swimming so she could read for hours at a time. Now, she catches fun facts instead of fireflies to light up the night. She finds writing about herself in the third person strangely liberating.
